General: Horizontal Rolling Windows are Coastal thermally improved Series 1500 manufactured by Coastal Industries, Inc.
Material: All aluminum extrusions are 6063-T5 alloy with a minimal wall thickness of .062”. Insulation, when required, is provided by a poured-in-place polyurethane specially formulated for this purpose. Parting stops are black rigid vinyl extrusions. Sections are designed to provide complete thermal break in both frames and sash.
Construction: Frame is 3 1/4” in depth. Corners are coped and mechanically joined with screws. An integral fin frame is standard. A rigid vinyl parting stop at the frame head and a sill insert are provided to prevent thermal short circuit. Sill has baffled weep holes for drainage. Sash members are designed to accommodate 7/8” sealed insulating glass. Sash corners are semi-lap type mechanically joined with stainless steel screws at each corner.
Hardware: Moving sash is equipped with two steel ball bearing wheels mounted in nylon wheel housings which allow a vertical adjustment. The moving sash has an automatic spring-action latch and can be used in any vertical location.
Weatherstripping: Sash and frame are double weatherstripped using Fin-seal or Poly-bond with flexible vinyl as required.
Glazing: Series 1500 is glazed with 7/8” sealed insulating glass using “wrap-around” vinyl of the marine type.
Screens: Standard half screens have extruded aluminum frames with charcoal fiberglass cloth. Full screens are available on two-panel windows only.
Finish: Standard finish is baked acrylic enamel paint in either WHITE or BRONZE.
Available in white or bronze with 7/8″ insulated glass, clear, or colonial. Excellent for commercial or residential apartment buildings.

Class CW-PG30 1422 x 2324 (56 x 91 1/2)-H

CONSTRUCTION: Frame shall be 3 1/4” in depth. Corners shall be butt joint construction and mechanically joined with screws. Sash members shall be designed to accommodate 7/8” sealed insulating glass. Sash corners shall be of a semi-lap type mechanically joined with stainless steel screws at each corner.
HARDWARE: Moving sash shall be equipped with two spiral balances with nylon swivel shoes. The moving sash shall have an automatic spring-action latch at top of top sash and two latches at bottom of bottom sash. All fas-teners shall be aluminum, stainless steel or non-corrosive material.
WEATHERSTRIPPING: Sash and frame shall be double weatherstripped using Fin-seal or Poly-bond with flexible vinyls as required. GLAZING: Series 1300 shall be glazed with 7/8” sealed insulating glass using wrap-around vinyl of the marine type. SCREENS: Screens shall have extruded aluminum frames with charcoal fiberglass cloth. Half-screen is standard, full screen is available.
FINISH: Standard finish shall be baked acrylic enamel paint in either WHITE or QUAKER BRONZE.
INSTALLATION: (BY OTHERS) All windows shall be installed without racking, binding, forcing or distorting of frames or sash. Sill shall be level and jambs plumb. All caulking shall be sufficient to provide a water tight perimeter seal. It shall not be the responsibility.

CONSTRUCTION: Frames shall have an integral fin around the entire perimeter and should be mechanically joined with screwfasteners. The sill shall have a slow pitch with weep slots for adequate drainage. Window panel shall interlock at central meeting rail.
HARDWARE: Moveable sash shall be equipped with an all aluminum spring loaded self-locking latch which shall engageinto the frame jamb. The moving sash shall be equipped with two nylon glide pads.
INSTALLATION: All windows shall be erected by others in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations without forcing, springing, or twisting. Head and sill members shall be aligned, parallel and square with jambs. A sealant shall be provided by the erector and applied to provide a watertight seal between the windows and surrounding construction.
SCREENS: Shall be Extruded Screen stock, half screens with fiberglass mesh. Optional: full screen. Optional wire: No-See-Um,pet screen and enhance vision.
GLAZING: Shall be factory glazed with 1/2” insulating glass panels. Single glazed option: 1/8” annealed or 1/8” tempered glass.
